About the Artist
Paul Schmidt (1955-2017), also known as Makabani, was a University of South Africa-trained fine artist from the Eastern Cape of South Africa. His work graced prestigious galleries worldwide, including the Sands Hotel Gallery in Vancouver, West Coast Gallery in Los Angeles, Khan’s Gallery in Miami and various galleries in South Africa.
